Day 10 Driving south through the North West Highlands of Scotland

First we need to revisit the Loch Ness Monster sighting a few days ago.  My introduction to the mystery turned out to be a sneak preview of international news.  Check This from USA Today or

USA Today says "it cannot confirm or deny".  RT.com admits it is a lousy model to be used for an upcoming TV show.  But, you can be proud to say that you were the first in the world to hear about this stunt!  Oh boy.

On to day 10........If Colorado and Kauai had a baby it would be the North West Highlands of Scotland.  Much of what we saw today reminded me of the high mountain lakes and tundra above timberline, growing up in Colorado.  Looking left you would see mountain lakes, but looking right you would see the ocean.  And looking up looked like the mountains of Kauai.  Very unique.

UNESCO designated this part of Scotland as a Global Geopark.  We just enjoyed driving through it today and enjoyed the views.  A few photos below:
